The Ministry of Health (MOH) has recently launched several initiatives, meant to develop health services in the Kingdom. These initiatives reflect a clear vision for the future through a number of procedures and steps, such as establishing the medical records improvement program, introducing the Australian Medical Coding System, establishing the productivity improvement program in hospital operating rooms, establishing the medical performance improvement program in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), establishing the performance improvement program in emergency departments, establishing the patient relations program, currently staffing more than 1200 employees sparing no effort to ensure comfort for patient's, as well as responding to their enquiries and help them when visiting the hospital. Thus, the Kingdom exerts vigorous efforts, under the leadership and patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to ensure safety and comfort for pilgrims during the Hajj season every year.
