This document summarizes a comprehensive eHealth Strategy and Roadmap prepared by the Ministry of Health with the guidance of IBM Middle East FZ-L.L.C. This strategy has had the active involvement of a large number of highly experienced and passionate employees of the MOH, from Executive to front line Care Providers, including many professionals from physicians, to nurses, to Pharmacists to Radiologists to Administrators. External Advisors have guided the process, including KSA Healthcare leaders from leading hospitals and other government healthcare organizations, and a panel of international reviewers who have provided excellent oversight based on international leading practices and experience.
The resulting complete Vision reflects the various dimensions that are included in this document, and is this vision is as comprehensive as any in the world.
The full implementation of this Vision over the coming years, should produce the tools needed for a world-class healthcare delivery organization, and support the MOH Vision to transform healthcare delivery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
