The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Assistant Agency for Primary Healthcare, has launched (Health Educators of Focus Groups) initiative, which comes as part of initiatives of the primary healthcare development in the Assistant Agency. This initiative aims to promote social solidarity, engage patients with chronic or rare diseases and their families with health practitioners to improve their health condition (physical, psychological and social), in addition to empowering them to form focus groups with patients suffering from same disease or their families. These focus groups would meet, share experiences and provide psychological and social support to each other, in the presence of a health educator to guide them during their scheduled meetings and activities in a predetermined venue.
