Responsibilities Of Minister's Office
​​​ The Office of the Minister provides all secretarial and administrative services with the latest advanced scientific methods; creating an appropriate environment for the Minister to carry out His Excellency's work effectively and efficiently.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Providing all secretarial and administrative services according to the latest scientific methods; creating an appropriate environment for the Minister to carry out His Excellency's work effectively and efficiently
  • Handling correspondence, presenting them to His Excellency, and following his directions regarding them.
  • Receiving private and confidential communications, presenting them to His Excellency and sending them according to his directions.
  • Writing letters, telegrams, and memorandums and preparing reports requested by the Minister.
  • Receiving the public and their documents, presenting them to His Excellency and following his directions regarding them.
  • Informing the concerned authorities of any written or verbal instructions and directives issued by the Minister.
  • Scheduling the Minister’s visits and meetings.
  • Organizing the Minister’s meetings and recording the minutes of these meetings.
  • Coordinating with the concerned authorities about the Minister's participation in local and international conferences and formal events.
  • Receiving phone calls for the Minister.
  • Archiving, filing and retrieving documents and information using modern technology.
  • Supervising and following-up the coordination among the units of the Office of the Minister and the concerned departments within the Ministry, the departments related to the Ministry and other entities.
  • Receiving private and confidential letters and transactions addressed to the Minister, presenting them to His Excellency and responding to them according to his directions.
  • Informing the concerned bodies about the instructions and directives issued by the minister.
  • Informing the MOH’s agencies, departments and authorities associated with the Minister about the resolutions and circulars issued by the Council of Ministers and the Council of Civil Service.
  • Preparing circulars and resolutions for the Minister and informing the concerned authorities about them.
  • Supervising the preparation and verifying the accuracy of reports and summaries requested by the Minister before presenting them to His Excellency.
  • Following up on issues which exceeded the time limit for completion and have been submitted to His Excellency by the Business Follow-up Unit.
  • Presenting to the Minister the important and urgent issues for which follow-up processes did not achieve specific results.
  • Supervising the scheduling of the Minister’s meetings, conferences and visits.
  • Preparing periodic reports about the Office's activities and accomplishments and submitting them to the Minister.
  • Following up on correspondence issued by the Minister and conducting reports according to his directions.
