Overview:
World Hearing Day is an annual global advocacy event to raise awareness regarding hearing loss, promote ear and hearing care, and call for actions to address hearing loss and related problems.
The theme for World Hearing Day 2023 is “Ear care and hearing for all, let's make it a reality” which provided a global call for actions to tackle hearing loss and ear disease throughout life course.

- Hearing loss (and related ear diseases) can be avoided through preventative measures such as protection from loud sounds, good ear care practices and immunization.
