MOH: 16 Emergency Centers to Serve Pilgrims at Jamaraat Facility
11 July 2022
The Ministry of Health (MOH) have provided its therapeutic and emergency services to pilgrims during the days of Tashreeq (the three days following Eid Al-Adha) at the Jamaraat facility, through 16 equipped emergency centers disseminated over different sites in the facility’s towers, in addition to enhancing these centers with more than 138 qualified medical, nursing, and ambulatory cadres.

According to MOH, most cases served by these centers were cold cases, while only some cases were referred through emergency transportation to hospitals to complete their follow-up and proper treatment.

It is noted that these emergency centers keep on serving pilgrims until the end of Tashreeq days. These centers (with a 120-bed capacity) have been equipped by MOH with cutting-edge medical devices and cool mist fans to deal with cases of heat exhaustion and heat strokes.
