Current Plans to Achieve the Objective:

  • Set up an e-health governance framework.
  • Set up a national health IT infrastructure.
  • Set up Saudi network of telemedicine.
  • Use of modern digital technologies (artificial intelligence, Internet of things, smart devices, social platforms, cloud computing, etc.) to improve health services.
  • Deploy national health information systems (HIS) across all MOH hospitals, healthcare centers, and specialized centers.
  • Developing national polices and standards for health information exchange.
  • Deploy Saudi E-Health Information Exchange (SEHE) between all health service providers.
  • Deploy modern hospital management tools (ERP, analytics, etc.)
  • Set up national public health portal services (centralized appointment service, etc).
  • Setup the national health observatory.
  • Achieving effective communication, coordination and data exchange
  • Effective measurement of key performance indicators.
