Diagnosis
Osteoporosis patients are diagnosed through one of the following methods:
  • Clinical examination

 

 

 

  • Identifying the symptoms of the disease, such as joint pain, neck pain and lower-back pain.
 
  • Bone-density test
  • Skeletal radiographs

 

 

 

  • Skeletal CT scan

 

 

 

Prevention and Treatment:

  • Having balanced meals, including all the necessary nutrients for bone growth

 

 

 

  • Eating foods rich in calcium and Vitamin D
  • Avoiding smoking and alcohol

 

 

 

  • Exposure to the sunlight (during sunrise and sunset)

 

 

 

  • Taking the proper medication, based on the doctor's directives
