Bisha Health Affairs: Over 100 Training Programs for Staff in 2018

​In 2018, Bisha Health Affairs organized 105 training programs for around 3,000 employees (male and female), in different medical, technical and administrative specialties. 

 

The Affairs implemented 12 professional training programs for its officials, namely: "Takween" program for development of health leaders, lasted for 3 months, with 140 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours in cooperation with Bisha University, Project Management Professional (PMP) program with 35 CME hours accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Health Performance (Adaa') Program, with 11 CME hours accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) program, with 35 CME hours accredited by BSI and the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence program accredited by the American Society for Quality Control. The professional training programs also included: Human Development, Effective Communication and Leadership Skills program, Modern Practices in Human Resource Management program, Magnet Recognition program, which is one of the world's most prestigious nursing accreditation programs and the "Customer Service Excellence" program, with 18 CME hours accredited by MOH's Training and Academic Affairs General Department. They also included Risk Management Professional (RPM) program, Construction Projects Management – Fidic program and OSHA program. 

It is worth noting that Bisha Health Affairs feature eight hospitals, serving the residents of Bisha, Tathlith, Bilqarn, Al-Amwah and neighboring localities. The Affairs also provides primary healthcare services at 85 centers.
