According to Riyadh Health Affairs, over the past year (2018), Watheelan General Hospital served 55,586 patients (40,186 emergencies and 15,400 outpatients), in addition to 2,800 inpatients with a bed occupancy rate of 45 % and an average length of stay of 3 days.
“The hospital performed 16 birth cases, 94 surgeries (eye, gynecological, and general surgeries), 66,568 laboratory and radiology examinations (60,112 lab tests and 6,456 radiology examinations), as well as dispensing 43,625 medical prescriptions,” stated the Affairs.
