Buraidah: Ophthalmologists End the Sufferings of a Patient with a Lump in His Eye
25 March 2018

By Allah’s Grace, the ophthalmologists of Buraidah Central Hospital have successfully ended the sufferings of a 15-year-old patient with a rapidly growing and painful lump around his right eye; thus, causing external ophthalmological deformity which could lead - may Allah forbid - to loss of his eyesight. After due ophthalmological checkups, he was diagnosed with a lump surrounding his eye near his nose; thus, forming an external ophthalmological protrusion, in addition to pressure on and degeneration of his optical nerve which may lead to blindness. Immediately, the treating team decided to resect the lump followed by plastic surgery for the incision. Thank Allah the surgery has been successful and the patient is discharged from the hospital with further follow-up by the outpatient clinic.
