The GCC Health Ministers Council has agreed to renew the tenure of the Director-General of the GCC Health Ministers Council, Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmad Khoja, for another three years, in recognition of his fruitful efforts and hard work to develop the work at the Executive Board.
The renewal for Dr. Khoja comes as the natural response to the successive achievements he managed to accomplish during the last years, improvement of the status of the Executive Board on the international health arena to take up the prestigious status it deserves, as well as the scientific approach and great international recognition of the Board. That is to be added to its effective leading role and efforts in all fields and activities related to improving the performance of the GCC Health Ministers Council and its Executive Board during his work in the last years. Furthermore, the Executive Board has recently received a number of international awards for creativity, leadership, transparency, quality and best practices.
Dr. Khoja, on his part, expressed his thanks and gratitude to Their Excellencies the GCC Health Ministers for such valuable trust, wishing to be at expectation of everyone. He prayed for Allah to guide and help him to achieve the aspirations.
