MOH Makes Monitoring Visits to the Health Facilities in the Holy Sites

The MOH Stock Monitoring Committee continued its monitoring work in the Hajj season as it carried out several monitoring visits to the health facilities in the Holy Sites. It included the Holy Sites of Mina, Mount Arafat, and Muzdalifh. The visits targeted eight hospitals and ninety-nine health centers.
Visits were made by work teams assuring that medications, medical supplies, laboratory instruments, and X-ray and dental supplies are provided, and ensuring of the delivered amounts; and that they were redeemed and received according to the regulations and rules regulating that.

In meantime, the Supervisor-General of the Stock Monitoring General Committee; and the Head of the Stock Monitoring Supervisory Committee, Dr. Mea'aid Bin Yahia Al-Khatani stressed on the importance of the Committee's work, and its key role in maintaining the public fund.
 
This is through intensifying the monitoring field tours to the health facilities. It makes monitoring visits before and during operation, and ensures that redemption takes place in line with the rules regulating that.
 
In addition to this, the Committee oversees the recalling process taking place when the Hajj season finishes, and regulates the recalled amounts to the medical supply warehouses, and supervising their recording in the official registers; then making the annual study which is prepared by the Stock Monitoring General Committee on what has been redeemed and consumed during the Hajj season. This is with the aim of drawing on it in terms of pinpointing needs and preparing the supply plans for the next seasons; this all takes place through cooperating and coordinating with the relevant bodies.

He went on to add that a number of field visits were conducted to the medical supply warehouses in the Holy capital, as well as the health facilities in the Holy Sites: Mina, Muzdalifh, and Mount Arafat; in order to inspect the workflow in them and meet the officials of these health facilities.
 
Moreover, these visits were conducted upon relentless follow-up by the Advisor of his Excellency the Minister of Health; the Supervisor-General of the Monitoring Committees Saud bin Mubarak Alrafaih, and upon the directives of his Excellency Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah who lends the monitoring committees intense interest and continuous support. This is due to his consciousness of the important role which they play in improving on the performance of the health facilities; through making sure of applying rules and regulations and the optimal use for resources.
