MOH Supplies Arafat General Hospital with Consultants in Cardiac Diseases, Emergency, and Intensive Care

During the pilgrimage season of this year, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has supplied Arafat General Hospital with consultants in cardiac diseases, emergency, intensive care, respiration, internal medicine, and surgery, along with other devices, such as the digestive tract endoscope, electronic Tourniquet, x-ray digital reader, x-ray digital printer, in addition to a heating device for patients; which will help ensure providing excellent services for the pilgrims at Mount Arafat.
 
For his part, the Director of Arafat General Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Kharroubi, pointed out that the hospital develops a hypothetical plan annually on the ways of evacuating and receiving cases, in addition to the new chemical pollution plan.
 
Dr. Al-Kharroubi further noted that the hospital comprises 300 beds for hospitalization sections, in addition to 12 beds for emergency section, 4 beds for cardiopulmonary recovery, and 28 beds for intensive care units.
 
Moreover, Dr. Al-Kharroubi highlighted that the stationary workforce in Arafat General Hospitals reaches 248 personnel, while the changeable workforce is 180 personnel, indicating that the MOH has supplied the hospital with 3 new ambulances equipped with the latest equipment.
 
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Kharroubi said that there is a separate floor for medical isolation. This floor comprises five large rooms for infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis (TB), meningitis, and meningitis.
 
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Kharroubi wished for the pilgrims to perform the Hajj rites easily, in light of the unlimited support paid by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as well as His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, May Allah protect them, to the Ministry of Health.
