Dr. al-Hemeidi Lauds King Abdullah's Patronage of Inaugurating Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Hospital

The Deputy Minister of Health for Curative Services, Dr. AbulAziz Al-Hemeidi, appreciated the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin AbdulAziz, may Allah save him, of the inauguration of Prince Mohammad Bin AbdulAziz Hospital in Riyadh.
 
According to Dr. Al-Hemeidi, in a press release, such patronage is a badge of honor to all MoH officials; as it reflects the continuous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Prime Minister to the health sector in the Kingdom, motivating MoH officials to do their best and make the sincerest efforts to serve MoH beneficiaries.  
 
Dr. Al-Hemeidi added that King Mohammad Bin AbdulAziz Hospital is a new MOH institution which covers all medical specialties. It is considered a qualitative addition to healthcare services systems for Riyadh citizens with regards to the high qualifications of the manpower there as well as the integration of the advances, progressive technical equipment.
 
Moreover, Dr. Al-Hemeidi went on to add that the hospital acommodates 500 beds, the cost of which has passed SR 465 million. It includes 15 surgery rooms, 10 of which are equipped with digital systems, 4 one-day surgery rooms and an emergency surgery room.
 
He added that the capacity extends to receive 102 intensive care cases, 63 emergency rooms, as well as more than 50 beds for dialysis and 16 beds for burn cases.
 
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Hemeidi indicated that the hospital includes a laboratory equipped with the latest technologies, an integrated radiology section having the latest techniques of CT and TV scans, as well as integrated support sections such as infection control and technical support. The hospital receives its patients and visitors with highly equipped outpatients including internal diseases clinics, cardiology clinics, vascular clinics, orthopedic clinics, respiratory clinics, digestive disorder clinics, urinary tract clinics, dermatology clinics, genital clinics and kidney disease clinics.
