New Administrative Assignments Issued by the Minister of Health

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has issued a resolution stipulating the designation of Dr. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Sehibani to assume the tasks and responsibilities of the MOH Assistant Undersecretary of Health affairs, for one year as of 22/12/2012 (corresponding to 9/2/1434H). He is to be directly administratively linked to the Undersecretary of Planning and Health Economics.
 
Another resolution was taken by Dr. Al-Rabeeah, designating Dr. Nabil bin Haza' Al-Qahtani to assume the tasks and responsibilities of the Supervisor-General of the Field Epidemiology Program, alongside his work as an advisor at the MOH Undersecretary of Public Health, for one year as of 22/12/2012 (corresponding to 9/2/1434H).
 
These resolutions come within the framework of the Ministry's keen interest in the investment of competencies qualified for serving patients, in a way that pushes the Ministry forward toward its sought-after objectives.
 
To that end, Dr. Al-Rabeeah called upon the newly assigned officers to make every effort with a view to serving patients as best as possible, thereby gaining their satisfaction. He also prompted them to pursue the path of development and improvement of the MOH performance, in concordance with the standards of the Comprehensive and Integrated Health Care Project, which gives rise to such values and principles as justice, equality and inclusion in the distribution of health services, thus accomplishing high accessibility to such services throughout the Kingdom. Meanwhile, he wished for them success.
 
The two newly assigned officers, for their part, extended thanks to His Excellency the Minister of Health for such precious confidence, meanwhile hoping that they will be up to everyone's expectations. They affirmed that they will harness their experiences for supporting and developing health services, thus maintaining everyone's satisfaction.
 
Noteworthy, Dr. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Sehibani has got his PhD in Economics from Colorado State University - Fort Collins (US), and got his Master's degree in business administration from Colorado Technical University (US). He held a host of posts, most notably the director of research department at Al-Rajhi Bank, a visiting professor at Prince Sultan University and Al-Yamamah University, and a researcher at the Middle East and North Africa department, in Washington (US), through the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He has served, also, as a board member and chamberlain of the Saudi Economic Association (SAE) since June 2011.
 
Dr. Nabil al-Qahtani, on his part, is a consultant physician of preventive medicine who has held numerous posts, to mention some: assistant director general of health faculties and institutes, director general of non-communicable diseases control, advisor at the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization, director general of planning, director general of health centers, director of preventive medicine at the Ministry of Interior (MOI), and director general of medical research.
