The Kingdom's Children Thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince
25 April 2012
The Kingdom's children have sent a message of thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, May Allâh protect them, in recognition of their keen interest in the preservation of the Saudi children's health and well-being (by means of vaccination, treatment, etc.).

This message was delivered by the child, Nouf Al BaBtain, in her address, on behalf of the Saudi children, before the inauguration ceremony of the World Immunization Week 2012, held by the Ministry of Health (MOH) under the theme: “Vaccination is the responsibility of all.” Nouf said, “It is no secret that the Kingdom has accomplished tremendous achievements in the field of vaccination, thanks to the generous support of the Wise Leadership: our dear King, Baba Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz. Therefore, it came as no surprise that the Kingdom got the Global Award for being entirely free from polio, which has always posing a serious risk for our children.”

She added, “The second message is to be delivered to our parents; to spare no effort to maintain our health, by adhering to the vaccination schedule. Dear parents, allow me to call upon you to put into effect the World Immunization Week's theme: (Protect your world – Get vaccinated!). The third message is devoted to the society; it stems from the spirit of the theme, which denotes that vaccination is the responsibility of all.”

In conclusion, children prayed for Allâh to protect our King and Crown Prince, and to perpetuate our Kingdom's glory and stability.
