Dr. Al-Rabeeah Acclaims the Health Sectors' Efforts in Serving Pilgrims

   His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has acclaimed the health sectors' participation in serving pilgrims during the Hajj season, commending the teamwork which is an inherent attribute of these sectors, namely: the Military Health Services, the National Guard, the health services provided by the Minister of Interior (MoI), and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
During his inspection tour through the various governmental health sectors involved in Hajj, His Excellency the Minister of Health stated that the health services available for the 'guests of Allâh' are provided in compliance with the directives given by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Crown Prince, May Allâh protect them, to provide all that is necessary for preserving the pilgrim's health and safety. He pointed out that the Ministry of Health (MOH) has been always endeavoring to improve the heighten the level of the medical equipment used, as well as the medications, in pursuit of issuing a unified drug directory, along with a unified directory for the medical equipment, so as to be concordant with the high-quality standards.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah went on to say that underway is an outstanding coordination between these sectors and the air-ambulance service, provided by Saudi Red Crescent Authority, to transmit critical cases to the hospitals supplied with airstrips in the Holy Places, with the aim to transmitting patients to receive the needed treatment as fast as possible.
The Ministry of Health takes over its roles and responsibilities to the best, Al-Rabeeah added, making clear that shortcomings are addressed and amended as fast as possible, and, in the mean time, development and renovation projects proceeds, with a view to attain the quality-level of the health services provided in the world's first-class hospitals. The Health Sector embraces proficient medical and technical staff exerting every effort for the sake of pilgrims, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said.
Besides, His Excellency the Minister of Health revealed that there is a unified statistics between the various health sectors. It has to do with the workflow in the Holy Places around the clock, and by the end of the Hajj season, it would be published through various mass media, to be benefitted from in the development researches conducted by the Ministry.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah underscored joining efforts with a view to reflect the Kingdom's keen interest in the provision of the best services for the pilgrims, who have come from around the world to perform the Hajj rites and return to their countries, healthy and safe. All the MOH staff work in full swing as a work-team looking forward to the attainment of this goal.
The Ministry of Health works in compliance with the Royal directives to make available of high-tech medical equipment in all hospitals, Dr. Al-Rabeeah concluded.
