Today, Wednesday, Ministry of Health started a live broadcast at 9:00 pm via the "Live well" account (@livewellmoh) on TikTok platform, entitled “The Family Role in Drug Addiction Treatment,” from the headquarters of Seha Virtual Hospital, where Mr. Khaled Al-Juraisy, Addiction Treatment Consultant, will be present during the broadcast. And Dr. Sami Al-Hamoud the expert and counselor in addiction.
Specialists will discuss the family role, ways to recover from drug addiction, preventive and curative services provided by the Ministry to treat addiction, and raise awareness of drug damage and its severe consequences.
It is worth noting that Ministry of Health launched a live broadcast via its TikTok account from last Sunday, in which drug damage, ways to recover from it, and effects of addiction are discussed, through the appearance of a group of consultants and doctors specializing in psychiatry and addiction treatment, and answering inquiries of those present in the broadcast.
Ministry of Health called for the importance of communication and access to services provided to recover from drug addiction, through the medical consultation service by calling (937), or through the immediate medical consultation service in “Sehhaty” application, in addition to possibility of booking an appointment at Irada clinic through “Sehhaty” app, in order to obtain appropriate medical guidance and awareness advice about drug addiction, and upon evaluation by the doctor, the case is transferred to Seha virtual Hospital, which provides consultants and specialized doctors “remotely” to complete the treatment stage, according to the high privacy of data, and the patient’s private information.
