"MOH" Signs the Project for Privatizing Radiology and Medical Screening Services in Riyadh, In cooperation with the National Center for Privatization

Today, Ministry, Ministry of Health signed a contract for the privatization and partnership project between public and private sectors, with the winning consortium, to manage and operate radiology departments in 7 hospitals within the scope of the second and third health clusters in Riyadh, as part of the transformational efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Ministry; in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its programs; To reach a vibrant community whose members enjoy a full and healthy life.The signing was witnessed by His Excellency Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, in the presence of Deputy Executive Director for Legal Affairs at the National Center for Privatization, Mr. Sultan Al-Qahtani, and Deputy Executive Director for Privatization Consultations at the National Center for Privatization, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mulhim, and Assistant Undersecretary for Investment, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Omar who represented Ministry of Health in signing the contract..MOH stated that the project - which was launched earlier in cooperation with the National Center for Privatization - is a 10-year partnership project with the private sector, aimed at facilitating access to diagnostic services for more than 1.5 million beneficiaries. This is done by raising the absorptive capacity, and reducing time required to obtain and improve services, in the capital, Riyadh, and all governorates within the scope of the second and third health clusters, stressing that the service will be free of charge without any financial burdens on beneficiaries, and in accordance with best practices and international standards applied in this field, using the latest medical imaging equipment. The Ministry also indicated that the alliance company will equip the seven departments with all needs, and carry out maintenance operations throughout the contract and partnership period with the Ministry of Health. It is noteworthy that the winning consortium is the alliance of Al Takhassusi Alliance Medical Company, which is a joint alliance, headquartered in Riyadh, and includes King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Nexus Gulf Healthcare Saudi Arabia in the United Kingdom, and Alliance Medical Group in Britain, which is the leading provider of imaging services. in Europe and the United Kingdom.
