In the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Engineer Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, Ministry of Health celebrated the fact that the Seha Virtual Hospital (SVH) obtained the Canadian Diamond Category accreditation as the first virtual hospital in the world to obtain this accreditation.
Ministry of Health indicated that the Seha Virtual Hospital (SVH) achieved the highest international accreditation due to its excellence in applying safety standards and quality of care for virtual health services provided through the use and innovation of modern technologies, contributing to transfer of information, and enhancing expertise to achieve development and sustainability in health sector.
Ministry of Health stated that the Seha virtual hospital is the first in the Middle East and the largest in the world, as it facilitates access to specialized services, raises the level of health equality, and improves experience of the patient and its companions.
It is worth noting that Seha virtual hospital provides virtual health care services in several rare specialties to patients remotely in all regions of the Kingdom, in order to facilitate arrival of medical services to beneficiaries in their places without the need for transfer to hospitals in other regions, in a way that contributes to improving the quality of life for residents of the Kingdom to achieve objectives of transformation program in the health sector and the Kingdom's vision 2030.
