MOH: Provides School Healthcare to More than 1.6 Million Male & Female Students in 2022

The Ministry of Health stated that it provided school healthcare services to more than 1.6 million male and female students in general education schools, during the year 2022.
The ministry said that 1,295,578 male and female students were examined in the exploratory examination program for school students, and 396,958 male and female students were examined in the fitness examination program for school students, and 256,799 cases discovered from the exploratory examination program were contacted.
The Ministry of Health stated that it provided school health awareness programs to more than 4 million male and female students, with the aim of enhancing the level of health awareness for students, noting that it had trained more than 15 thousand trainees in all regions of the Kingdom on important programs and topics in the scope of school health; Which aims to enhance the health level of the school community, as the training included health cadres and educational cadres.
The Ministry stated that the vital indicators service (Know Your Numbers) registered more than 4 million beneficiaries, citizens and residents in all regions of the Kingdom, and enabled them to access their recorded readings through "Sehhaty"​ application.
It is noteworthy that the General Administration of School Health has launched the School Health Awareness Program, which is an awareness program that deals with a range of activities and awareness initiatives aimed at improving health knowledge, building trends, and instilling healthy behaviors in the school community.
The program aims to raise students' health awareness of health issues, in addition to introducing students to their health problems, developing their self-control over them, and acquiring healthy behavior in the school community.
This comes within MOH's continuous work to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to promote public health and raise awareness among young people in general education schools.
