According to Najran Health Affairs, over the first half of this year (2022), Najran General Hospital has served 62,049 outpatients and emergencies, as well as performing 1,342 surgeries.
On the other hand, the hospital’s orthopedic team has successfully performed a hip replacement surgery (hip arthroplasty) for a female patient, who had been suffering from pelvic pain and movement disorders.
After conducting due medical examinations, their results had showed that there was a femoral neck fracture. The medical team decided to perform a hip arthroplasty, during which they had removed the damaged joint and replaced it with an artificial one. Then, the patient had been discharged from the hospital in good health, after receiving the necessary medical care at inpatient departments, all praise is due to Allah.
