By Allah’s Grace, a medical team at Prince Mutaib bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Sakakah has successfully saved an 8-year old child’s arm from amputation. The patient was brought to the emergency after a traffic accident that caused him compartment syndrome. After due clinical diagnosis, the team decided to operate on him to save his upper arm.
The surgery was successful and the child’s arm was saved and he left the hospital in good health.
It is noteworthy that the hospital, during the first half of this year, has conducted 1,782 surgeries, including 399 orthopedic surgeries, and routine and emergency surgeries.
