According to Jeddah Health Affairs, over the past month (May), King Abdulaziz Hospital has performed 352 surgeries, with 252 one-day surgeries.
Within the same vein, the hospital’s medical team has managed to save a girl injured in a road traffic accident, as a vehicle ran over her right foot and ankle; which led to severe loss of soft tissues and tendons, in addition to toe (phalangeal) fractures. The team fixed the fractures, and then performed a rescue surgery for her foot. The surgery was crowned with success; all praise is due to Allah.
