Jazan: 22,000+ Patients Served by Damad General Hospital in 3 Months

According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the first quarter of this year (2022), Damad General Hospital has served more than 22,000 patients, with 18,489 emergencies and 3,786 outpatients. Also, the hospital has performed 419 surgeries, 207 birth cases, 15,757 radiological examinations, and 152,180 lab tests.

Within the same vein, the medical team of the hospital has successfully managed to stabilize a broken thighbone (femur fracture) of a person injured in an accident. After due clinical and radiological examinations, the patient was diagnosed with a femur fracture. The team decided to perform an open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) surgery, which was crowned with success. After that, the patient was put under observation to receive necessary medical care at the inpatient department. Then, the patient was discharged from the hospital after the stability of his condition.
