According to Al-Ahsa Health Cluster, the health coach program has been launched at 16 primary healthcare centers (PHCs) to ensure easy access to the service.
The program is one of the initiatives of the modern health care model within the programs of the health maintenance system. It aims to provide trainers with the necessary skills to guide community members and helping them to improve their lifestyle and better control their health; as well as implementing their treatment plans and motivating them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and exercise.
The service can be accessed by booking an appointment via “Mawid” App or “Sehhaty” App or through the family doctor at the same center. Also, appointments are available for virtual health coaching.
