Al-Ahsa Health Affairs has organized a blood donation campaign for women under the theme “You Can”, with the aim of raising awareness and increasing the rate of voluntary blood donation among women. The campaign was activated at markets, malls, beaches, and parks.
The Affairs said that donating blood is a noble humanitarian act as it can save the lives of thousands of patients in dire need of blood transfusion. All blood donation centers are safe, implementing all precautionary and preventive measures, it added.
The campaign comes in continuation of MOH’s endeavors to spread the culture of blood donation among citizens and residents alike and entrenching such noble humanitarian goals
