 Jeddah: Over 4,000 Home Medical Visits Conducted by King Abdullah Medical Complex in 6 Months

King Abdullah Medical Complex in Jeddah, during the first half of this year, has conducted 4,536 home visits, benefiting 500 patients enrolled in the home healthcare program. Also, medicines and medical supplies were delivered to 400 patients at their homes during the same period.

It is noteworthy that the program provides its service through qualified medical teams to all neighborhoods north of Jeddah. The services are provided to patients with the engagement of their families as per approved standards.

Moreover, the health services provided by the home medicine program include comprehensive medical and nursing care, following-up bed-ridden patients and the elderly and their chronic diseases, in addition to providing physical therapy service, respiratory therapy, clinical nutrition, and social services. The other main services include health education for patients and their families. They also include the provision of medical supplies and devices and medicines needed by the patients.
