The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Nutrition General Department, has signed today (Wednesday) a memo of understanding with the Saudi Airlines Catering.
The MoU aims to build a strategic alliance in the field of pre-packed meals (central) and the management and operation of catering services for frozen meals and food safety. It also aims to build partnership and cooperation in a number of fields, including training of specialized cadres from both sides, exchanging experiences with other catering companies, developing procedures for producing pre-packed meals (frozen) and cooked meals and long-life food items, as well as establishing a joint research center concerned with food, food safety, and nutrition.
As a first phase, MOH has launched its pre-packed food services at a number of sites.
