The Cardiac Center of Prince Sultan in Al-Qassim, during the past August, has performed 21 open-heart surgeries and 332 cardiac catheterizations for adult and pediatric patients.
It is noteworthy that the Center performs all operations to treat congenital heart defects in children and newborns, including supportive and final corrective surgeries. Besides, the center is reckoned one of the advanced medical centers in cardiac surgical interventions in the Kingdom. Also, the Center has conducted successful open-heart surgeries for adults who were in a very critical condition before the intervention of the Center’s medical staff.
