The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that COVID-19 mutations are rapidly spreading, calling on all people to take both doses of the vaccine to protect themselves against these mutations, meanwhile adhering to precautionary measures.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,187 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 524,584 confirmed cases, including 11,355 active cases and 1,395 critical cases.
In addition, 1,176 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 505,003 recoveries. Also, 14 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,226, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
