The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that the COVID-19 vaccine's second dose boosts body immunity and protects it against mutations, Allah willing, highlighting that the second dose should be taken after 42 days, and the first dose does not lose its effect if the period increases.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,295 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 503,734 confirmed cases, including 10,845 active cases and 1,426 critical cases.
In addition, 946 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 484,883 recoveries. Also, 14 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,006, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
