The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, signed on Thursday a community partnership agreement with the Endowment Foundation (Maqad), represented by Abdulaziz Al-Omran. The agreement aims to promote the culture of using baby car seats for newborns. 30,000 car seats for newborns were provided and distributed to MOH maternity hospitals in all regions of the Kingdom.
Furthermore, the agreement reinforces the contributions of the private sector in health development in accordance with the Saudi Vision 2030 and enabling it to offer health care support, in partnership with the government sector. This step takes into consideration the actual needs of citizens, and ensures they are provided in high quality and efficiency, in integration with the services provided by MOH, to benefit the community and citizens.
Noteworthy, the Community Participation Program is one of MOH's new initiatives that targets activating all community components to achieve health development and open new horizons in the relations between the Ministry and society with the ultimate objective of maintaining the health of citizens.
