Riyadh: 618 Surgeries for Gynecological Tumors at King Saud Medical City Last Year

According to King Saud Medical City, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, over the past year, has conducted more than 3,000 complex surgeries, including 618 surgeries for removing gynecological tumors. The hospital was able to continue providing its services amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with 5,729 births and treatment of 144 cases of Coronavirus without complications, it added. 
 
The Hospital has received 64 life-saving cases for women from inside and outside Riyadh, performed 136 placenta surgeries during which 27 uteruses were removed to save the mother's life. It said that the hospital has activated home visits after cesarean and vaginal birth. Also, a specialized clinic has been established at Al-Murabba Healthcare Center to provide the required medical care in a record time.
