The Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has underlined the importance of improving and following-up the implemented projects and upgrading the health services provided for citizens and residents in order to realize the aspirations of the wise leadership.
This came during his inauguration of a number of health projects in Madinah region today (Wednesday). They included the second phase of ICU units with a capacity of 44 beds, the central sterilization department with an area of 1,400 square meters, and eight operating rooms for advanced surgery, including a digital operating room in Madinah Hospital.
He also launched (Let's Provide Them Warm) initiative, which aims to provide therapeutic and educational clinics for children with asthma and those vulnerable to other common winter diseases, at the Al-Hijrah Healthcare Center.
Al-Rabiah also inspected the progress of work at a number of projects under implementation, including a number of healthcare centers, outpatient clinics, emergency departments at King Fahad Hospital, and outpatient clinics project at Maternity and Children Hospital.
At the end of his tour, he visited the COVID-19 vaccination center, urging everyone to spare no efforts in providing the services.
