COVID-19 Vaccination Center Launched in Madinah

​Governor of Madinah, HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in the presence of his deputy HRH Prince Saud bin Khaled Al-Faisal, has inaugurated Coronavirus vaccine center in Madinah. The center is located at Nojoud Medical Center, adjacent to King Fahad General Hospital.​

Following the inauguration, the Governor and his Deputy received the first injection, marking the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Madinah. During the upcoming stage, the service will be expanded for all citizens and residents across the region. 

The Governor praised the great efforts exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to deal with the pandemic, which contributed to curbing the spread of the virus.

He urged citizens and residents to take the initiative to register for the COVID-19 vaccine, which is available for all, praying for Almighty Allah to preserve our country and perpetuate its security and stability.

MOH has called on citizens and residents to hurry up and register for the vaccine through Sehaty app, in order to maintain their health and safety. The ministry confirmed the safety and efficacy of the vaccine after the effective passage of the vaccine testing phases, and strong immune response and continuous antibodies.

It is to be noted that Nojoud Medical Center has been allocated as the main center for the vaccination campaign and designed to receive large numbers of people in an organized way through 50 vaccination sites, including two emergency sites, managed by specialist medical staff.
