Makkah Health Affairs and the First Health Cluster, in collaboration with Hera Hospital, have trained 358 female and male nurses on ICU nursing skills. The training course lasted for 2 weeks, with 22 training hours accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
According to the Affairs, the training course aims at qualifying the trainees theoretically and practically and providing them with the necessary skills to work in the ICU amid COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical courses included 4 online lectures, while the practical training was given at 4 stations by highly qualified respiratory therapy trainers.
