According to Najran Health Affairs, the operational capacity of the molecular biology laboratory (MBL) at Najran Regional Laboratory has been increased by 75%; bringing the daily total number from 2,000 to 3,500 lab tests. Since its launch last July, the MBL has conducted 27,475 tests for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is noted that the MBL has been enhanced with highly qualified medical and technical professionals, in line with international standards that guarantee their safety within the health facility. Also, the MBL has obtained the accreditation of the National Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Weqaya).
