According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the past nine months, the Cardiac Center of Prince Mohammed bin Nasser has conducted 830 cardiac catheterization procedures, including 54 emergencies. During the same period, 889 arterial stents were implanted, 2 balloon valve expansion, as well as 3 therapeutic catheters to close the inter-parietal holes, including one emergency.
It pointed out that 76 cardiac pacing were implanted, 42 temporary and 34 permanent, as well as 2 cardioverter-defibrillator implantation. In addition, the center has conducted 54 open-heart surgeries, 52 for adults and 2 for children.
