Al-Jouf Health Affairs has recently launched 4 awareness initiatives to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The “Commitment Heroes” initiative, which was launched in collaboration with Al-Jouf Municipality, has conducted sudden inspection visits to restaurants and cafes as points of social gathering. “Commitment Hero” medal will be awarded to the facility that implements all COVID-19 prevention protocols. The health awareness team accompanied by Al-Jouf health volunteering team and municipality staff have conducted 40 tours during the first week.
During the first week of the second initiative, 10 field visits were conducted to urge community members to abide by the precautionary measures. The visits included Sakakah commercial centers, Al-Jouf popular market and Al-Nakheel park. The third initiative for participating in the events organized by a voluntary team on implementation of the precautionary measures. The last initiative is for intensifying publications on the social media via special hashtag (#الجوف_بالتزامنا_نصفرها ).
