The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced the readiness of Mona Al-Wadi Hospital with a 160-bed capacity, in preparation for receiving pilgrims and providing all necessary therapeutic services to them during the Hajj season of this year (1441H.). The hospital features an emergency department with a 34-bed capacity (24 for emergencies, six for critical cases resuscitation, and four beds for respiratory cases), a dressing room, and another for fractures. Besides, the hospital includes an ICU (with a 21-bed capacity), six negative pressure rooms, in addition to 48 beds for heat exhaustion cases (half of them for critical cases and the other half for moderate cases).
Also, the hospital features two operating rooms, an endoscopy unit, a sterilization section, a laboratory for all required tests and examinations, a blood bank, in addition a radiology department with 3 mobile devices, a fixed one, and two X-rays and CT scanners.
It is noted that the hospital has been fully equipped with all the medical, technical, nursing and administrative cadres and supplies.
