Najran: 6,400 Calles Received by Hospital Call Centers Since End of March
30 April 2020

According to Najran Health Affairs, over the period from March 25th to date, the call centers of Najran Hospitals have received more than 6,400 patients’ calls to inquire about health services during the current crisis. The centers have also received calls from patients to postpone their appointments at outpatient clinics, in conjunction with precautionary measures to control the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Affairs stated that the call centers operate at all hospitals in the region to respond to inquiries of patients and serve them, highlighting that these centers are used to communicate with some patients and their families to inform them about different messages (e.g. hospital policies and initiatives during this global pandemic) from their departments: radiology, endoscopy, or surgery.

It is worth mentioning that Najran Health Affairs has taken a number of precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These precautions include postponing routine and one-day surgeries, suspending patient visits at all hospitals, postponing appointments to be scheduled later, launching medical initiatives for patients using smart apps, as well as serving patients remotely with no need to visit hospitals.
