According to Riyadh Health Affairs, the first two consultation clinics for glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy treatment have been launched at Al-Quwayiyah and Huraymala hospitals.
The first clinic is for glaucoma treatment at Huraymala General Hospital and the second one is for diabetic retinopathy treatment at Al-Quwayiyah General Hospital. Also, a mobile clinic for diabetic retinopathy screening has been launched to run once a month at Shaqra General Hospital and peripheral hospitals, in addition to its launch in Az-Zulfi, Al-Aflaj, Al-Salil, Hawtat Sudair, and most peripheral hospitals based on geographical proximity.
