Ten Saudi Students Evacuated from China Declared Coronavirus-free

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today (Sunday) that the ten students evacuated from Wuhan, China are free from the novel coronavirus known as (2019-nCoV). The screening of their second sample proved that they are virus-free. The students left the quarantine after ensuring their health and safety and undergoing all required medical procedures.​

The students have arrived in Riyadh two weeks ago following the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, may Allah protect them, to evacuate them from China. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques embassy in China have exerted great efforts to facilitate their travel to the Kingdom. They were received by medical teams and have been isolated to ensure their health. 

MOH reiterated that, to date, no 2019-nCoV cases have been reported in the Kingdom.
The Ministry called on everyone to call the (937) service center in case of any inquiry regarding the coronavirus, stressing the importance of obtaining information from its official sources, and avoiding listening to rumors.
