According to Hail Health Affairs, Hail General Hospital has launched the Same-Day/Outpatient Surgery Unit, which features nursing staff of four nurses with their section head, two technicians, and two specialists. The Unit aims at reducing pressure on the hospital’s internal departments.
It is noted that the unit (with a 10-bed capacity) targets performing 50% of the total number of surgeries in the hospital.
