According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the first quarter of this year (2019), Samtah General Hospital has served more than 70,000 patients, with 43,619 emergencies and 27,374 outpatients, in addition to 1,011 inpatients.
“Also, the hospital performed 160,238 lab tests (hematology and chemistry tests), 15,618 radiology examinations, 6,430 rehabilitation sessions, 523 home medical visits, 723 birth cases, 701 surgeries (major, minor, and one-day surgeries), 2,689 dialysis sessions, as well as receiving 789 blood donors and dispensing 59248 medical prescriptions,” stated the Affairs.
