42,000 Women Screened during Breast Cancer Early Detection Campaign in Jeddah

​According to Jeddah Health Affairs, over the past three weeks, more than 1,300 women were screened during the Breast Cancer Early Detection Campaign. Statistics showed that the campaign exceeded its target percentages. Coinciding with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this campaign has been launched under the theme: «Don’t Become the Eighth!», benefiting more than 42,000 women and girls.


The campaign included many awareness & cultural activities and programs that were implemented at a number of facilities and shopping malls in governorates, schools, colleges, in addition to hospitals and healthcare centers of both public & private sectors. These hospitals have provided screening with mammography, which is the most sophisticated device for breast cancer detection.
