According to the Northern Region Health Affairs, over the past year (1439H.), Jadidat Arar Hospital served more than 12,000 patients, with 8,885 cases at emergency department and 15 inpatients. “The hospital performed 1,829 lab tests, 682 x-ray examinations, and 299 minor surgeries. Also, the hospital referred 49 patients with ambulances to Arar Central Hospital, in addition to 357 cases referred by Referral Program «Ehalati»”, stated the Affairs.
The Affairs added that the hospital received more than 4,088 outpatients, with 830 at orthopedic clinic, 909 at OB-GYN clinic, 131 at cardiac clinic, 395 at dental clinic, 872 at internal medicine clinic, and 951 at pediatric clinic.
It is worth mentioning that the Northern Borders Health Affairs features 12 specialized medical centers (a cardiac center, 5 diabetes centers, 3 kidney centers, and 3 dental centers), as well as 11 hospitals with a 1,410-bed capacity, which are enhanced with a number of delicate medical specialties such as: neurosurgery, heart surgery, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, and others. Besides, the Affairs has 48 primary healthcare centers.
