The gastrointestinal team of King Khalid General Hospital-Hafr Al-Batin has successfully retrieved a palm-sized piece of plastic embedded in the stomach of a 13-year-old girl. She visited the hospital’s emergency, suffering from persistent vomiting for more than six months. After due examinations, x-rays and endoscopy for the stomach, she was diagnosed with a plastic foreign body in her stomach that could not be digested due to its big size. As soon as the foreign body was removed, the patient felt better. By Allah’s Grace, she is now in a good health.
